We put tools down and headed for some fresh air at lunchtime today. Almost the end of April and we just feel as we haven't started to enjoy Spring.
The coast path leading out of Bude towards Widemouth bay today was beautiful and after a really wet winter, we were pleasantly surprised to find the path dry and mud free. This makes it so much safer and more enjoyable, making picnic stops or cafe stops a delightful break from your walk.
It is certainly walkers heaven around Bude, country and coastal and both Bodmin Moor & Dartmoor within easy driving distance. You can access the Southwest coast path directly from the coastline in Bude and venture further down into North Cornwall or up towards the North Devon border.
Sleeping up to 9 this is a great, stylish space for a group of walkers / families to join the coast path from. Located just 400m from the coastline, there is plenty of space to relax in after a days walking. Free parking and bus stops close by, eateries, shops and pubs a plenty, a large enclosed garden, useful utility/storage area for walking / beach equipment and washing machine/drier.
